Recycled Uranium contains fission products. The feed filters would be used on the feed system on the enrichment plant to filter out these fission products.

8A03 - UUK Operational waste
The waste arises from centrifuge plant decommissioning activities, daily operations and maintenance activities, auxiliary activities such as chemistry laboratories and a small fraction from clean-up. The waste will also arise from planeed outages. The waste consists of PPE, Cardboard, Wipes, Filters, plastic, WEEE, oils, chemicals, aqueous and no-aqueous wastes and other compactable/non-compactable wastes.

8A30 - UCP Operational Wastes
Waste from plant operations at UCP this includes deconversion of uranium hexafluoride to uranium oxide, uranium oxide storage, cylinder washing, residue recovery and various decontamination/maintence activities. These wastes are items which have become contaminated during normal operations or maintenance operations (i.e. during outages) Wastes included but not limited to: Soft Waste Non compactable wastes Metallic wastes Cemented drums Incinerable Liquids
