9D53 - Asbestos contaminated materials
Asbestos contaminated items remaining in the Inner Gas Valves (IGVs) and Outlet Gas Valves (OGVs) in Reactor 1 following bulk asbestos removal. These materials have elevated levels of activation products such as Co-60 and no reactor gas radionuclides compared to the standard reactor fingerprint used at Hinkley Point A.
